Hebrews 4:16 "Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time."
Who, what, where, why...now we get the "when"..."at the proper time."
Robert J. Morgan says, "That phrase literally means at the opportune or needed time, just when we need it."
He also includes a wonderful quote from G. Campbell Morgan:
Trust.
God's mercy and grace will be received "at the proper time."

He also includes a wonderful quote from G. Campbell Morgan:
I am never tired of pointing out that the Greek phrase translated, 'in the time of need', is a colloquialism, of which 'the nick of time' is the exact equivalent: That we may have grace to help in the 'nick of time.' Grace just when and where I need it. You are attacked by temptation, and, at the moment of assault, you look to Him, and the grace is there to help in the nick of time. No postponement of your petition until the evening hour of prayer; but, there...in the city street, with the flaming temptation in front of you, turn to Christ with a cry for help, and the grace will be there in the nick of time. And another by Amy Carmichael:
One day I was in trouble and oppressed about many things. It was one of those days when everything seemed to go wrong. I was trying to get my quiet time but was constantly interrupted. Suddenly these words came---I could hardly believe they were in the Bible, they seemed so new to my needy heart---'Grace to help in time of need.' I found them and read them and marked them with joy, and in that moment, the moment of their coming, I was renewed in strength. So the "when" is when we are the neediest, "in the nick of time"..."in time of need"..."at the proper time"...no matter how you choose to say it, God will respond to our requests when He sees it to be the absolute best, most appropriate, most needed time for us to receive His provision...as always, God's timing is perfect. We can't demand the "when" of God's response --- He is the only One who knows the perfect "when."
Trust.
God's mercy and grace will be received "at the proper time."

It is in God's time that we receive and also face the many trials and tribulations as well as the joys we experience. He is building and preparing us constantly. He blesses us constantly with strength to carry on. His time of of love is constant. What riches we gain on earth or achievements we may obtain is all a part of God's plan four our souls. With His Love deep in our hearts we know God will care for our needs. God knows the timing of our life's experiences her on earth and He knows the timing that we will leave this earth. As I go to Jesus Christ in faithful, loving prayer, He will listen and provide for me only in ways that only He knows, not I. I trust God's plan for me. I am a believer and I am in God's hands.
