...we'll do a quick review and add our new verse and call it a night! I'm SO enjoying this trip and special time with Robert, Mary and Shorty, but I am missing in-depth time here with "you" and God's Word. It's impossible to get wifi in our particular area, so I'm stuck with iPhone capability, which requires more patience than I possess at day's end!
But let's see where we are tonight and where God us leading us for this next week! We will start this week's review with the six verses of the Gift of Scripture...ready?
A place to come and dwell on God's Word and let our hearts take in the wonderful message of His love for us. These words, hidden in our hearts, go with us wherever we go in this life...if we have Bibles in our hands, or if we are dependent upon memory of His wonderful words. Let us not take for granted the gift of God's Word...it is life, both now and forever after.

"with His stripes we are healed" - were the stripes on His body from the pain that was inflicted upon Him? Did the stripes represent all of the pain from our sins that Christ endured?
We do and I have strayed from God and from the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have turned away to my own way. He punished Him for our inequities. Did Christ suffer our punishment. I look forward to your insight into this verse. You are a great leader and teacher. I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family.
