Tonight as I was doing and reviewing Bible study, I realized the four passages that had been pointed out to me this week to reinforce my trust in God, dovetail perfectly with these week's verse. Contemplate these verses as you consider that God's plans for your life and if those plans are worthy of your trust...
Psalm 9:10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
Psalm 20:7-8 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
Isaiah 12:2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."
God's Word does a very good job of reaffirming His Word, doesn't it? When we are told that God is a planner, and that He has plans for us, and that they are plans better than we could ever come up with...then God is good to us as well to include confirmations of His goodness from those who experienced it.
It's almost like God is including some "personal references" in case we're unsure if we're going to give Him the job of directing our lives! The Bible is full of such references to God's goodness and His provision, and if that Bible weren't enough, there are many people all around us who are ready to give an account of God's activity in their very own life....the ways that He has amazed them with provision at just the right time, the ways that unforeseen events came into play to bring about a much prayed about result, the ways that marriages have been healed, addictions slayed, lives saved.
God's Word and God's people are both great resources to utilize when you're contemplating turning your life over to Your Creator...ask and you'll get answers. God is ready to provide you with all the insight you need to accept His love for you.

I am seeking God - His plan for me and I trust Him that His plan for me is goodness for me. I have such struggles and broken relationships, but I know I must remain steadfast and continue each day to seek God and follow His Word. His plans for me will materialize through the pain I suffer. I can't drift away from God. He is the only one that can heal my wounds. He is my salvation and I need to seek Him every minute of every day. He will restore me - I need to remain close to God's Word and let God's Word through scripture fortify me.
