Day 7 - Week 30 - Psalm 100:4 "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name."

Psalm 100 is one of the shortest and most exuberant passages in the Bible.  It takes about thirty seconds to read; and if you'll read it aloud every morning for a month, you'll automatically have all five verses memorized for the rest of your life.  There are no negatives in this passage, no sorrows, warnings or problems.  It's just shouting and singing and knowing and being thankful. ~ Robert J. Morgan
Isn't that a great challenge to you and to me? Repeat these five verses every morning in praise to our Father and they will be with us for our lifetimes!  Tomorrow is September 20th.  Recite this passage every morning in praise to God with me until October 19th.  Let's see how this passage changes our hearts each day that we sing it - shout it!
Shout triumphantly to the Lord, all the earth.  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.  Acknowledge that the Lord is God.  He made us, and we are His - His people, the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him and praise His name.  For the Lord is good and His love is eternal;  His faithfulness endures through all generations.
Shout with me - sing with me!  Recite these verses and then pick a song of praise that you know and love and sing to the Lord.  I just have a feeling that if we start every day for the next thirty days stating our adoration of God and singing our praise to Him, we will be in a different state of faith come October 20th!

We need to remind ourselves daily that our Lord is God over all - that we are His, not the other way around.  We don't get to tell God what to do, He is supreme and He is our Lord.  But...rest easy...for HE IS GOOD and His love is eternal!  We do not serve a God who is selfish or who is moody...our God is constant and His love is forever.  He will be faithful not only to us, but to our children and to our children's children.  We can have confidence in Him - He is good!

Wake with me in the morning to shout to our God and to sing to Him our praises!

If you need a suggestion for a great praise song to start the day...here is one of my favorites...

Oh God, you are my God, and I will ever praise You.
Oh God, you are my God, and I will ever praise You.
And I will seek You in the morning, and I will learn to walk in Your ways,
and step by step You'll lead me, and I will follow You all of my days.
And I will follow You all of my days, and I will follow You all of my days,
and step by step You'll lead me, and I will follow You all of my days.

What great direction for us to follow. Starting each day with Praise and Worsip. I downloaded your two song (the sparrow song also) and I have a couple of my own. Praising God pleases God. Praise and Worship - acknowledges that God is King and our powerful Lord. He is good, His mercy everlasting and His truth endures all generations. I will make a joyful noise and sing God's praises.
